These cannabis seeds go into the flowering stage automatically based on the age of the plant, regardless of the light cycle.

A photoperiod cannabis seed is a type of cannabis seed that will grow into a plant whose flowering cycle is determined by the amount of light it receives each day. Here's a breakdown of what that means:

Light-Sensitive Flowering: Photoperiod cannabis plants have two main growth stages:

Vegetative Stage: During this phase, the plant focuses on growing its stems, leaves, and roots. It requires longer periods of light, typically 18-24 hours per day, to remain in this vegetative growth. 

Flowering Stage: This is when the plant starts to develop buds (the desired part of the cannabis plant). Photoperiod strains are triggered to enter the flowering stage when the amount of light they receive decreases to around 12 hours per day and are accompanied by 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness. This mimics the natural change in daylight hours as summer transitions to fall.

Control Over Growth: Growers of photoperiod cannabis have more control over the size and yield of their plants. By manipulating the light cycle, they can keep the plants in the vegetative stage for a longer period to allow them to grow larger and bushier, potentially leading to higher yields during flowering.

If the packaging is open or lacks a sealed inner vial, reseal it securely within an airtight container. Refrigeration is advisable for extended storage periods.
